My grandpa also lives about an hour away. He just turned 92 this year and still lives by himself and is very healthy. After about a year after my grandma passed away, he was reunited with his very first date, Wilma. They have been dating for several years now. She lives in Indiana and they decided not to move to be close to each other, so a few times a year one will fly to the other and they talk every night. They make it work. It is very cute. He came to visit in May and brought her with him so I could meet her. She is lovely and they had a good time with the girls.
