For Mother's Day, Darin brought me some flowers (one of those rare occasions). We celebrated the previous day with a trip to Leo Carillo State Beach. We were on the road with the rest of Southern California...
The beach was beautiful with large rocks, tide pools and caves, but it was VERY windy.We weren't so smart, sitting right out in the open. Others congregated near the caves for a wind break.
Us girls painted our toes for the occasion. When we got home Ava asked me to paint her fingernails, which I did...
She later decided to paint Avery's fingernails and this is the result... Happy Mother's Day to me!
